You keep your workouts, measurements and sometimes photos in AscendraFit. Here is, in plain words, how we protect them. The full rules are in the privacy policy.
The database, sign-in and uploaded files are stored in the European Union, in Ireland. The web app's server functions run in Dublin (Ireland).
Some data may be processed outside Europe by providers the app cannot work without — for example Apple and Google or the e-mail provider. Who, what and on what basis is in the privacy policy.
The connection to the app and the website is always encrypted (HTTPS). Your browser is told never to connect to us without encryption.
Data and files are also encrypted while stored — at the infrastructure provider.
We do not know your password: it is stored only in encrypted form.
Every entry belongs to your account, and the database itself makes sure only that account can read it.
A trainer sees your data only after you accept their invitation, and only from the time you work together — nothing from before it started.
Health data and progress photos are visible to your trainer only if you share them yourself.
The Apple Health and Google Health Connect link is off by default. We only ask for it when you switch it on yourself, and we ask for a separate consent before saving any health data. We save daily summaries only (for example your step count), never continuous sensor readings.
You can turn on two-step verification: when you sign in, you enter a code from an authenticator app as well as your password. Turn it on in Settings, under Security.
In the phone app you can also unlock with your face or fingerprint. Your phone checks it — we never receive any biometric data.
You delete your account yourself, in the app. It disappears for other people at once, and after 14 days we delete it permanently together with your plans, workout history, measurements, photos and files. Until then you can change your mind. Step by step: account deletion.
The only thing kept for longer is proof of the consents you gave (without your e-mail address or name) — the privacy policy explains it.
We do not sell your data, we do not pass it to anyone for marketing, and we show no ads.
Write to support@ascendrafit.com. We look into every such report.
